Sheila Patel

Sheila Patel is the current Chief Medical Officer at Chopra. Sheila has also served as Medical Director at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, as well as a Physician at Vista Community Clinic and Mind-Body Medical Group. Sheila has also been a Hospitalist at Tricity Hospitalists and Staff Physician at St Josephs Community Health Services and Wrangell Medical Center.

Sheila Patel has a residency in family medicine from Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, CA. Sheila also has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in medical microbiology and bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Sheila is also certified as a HeartMath Practitioner, Chopra Center 200-hour Yoga Certification, Chopra Center Ayurvedic Consultant, and Primordial Sound Meditation from the Chopra Center for Wellbeing. Sheila is also board certified in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.

Sheila Patel reports to Deepak Chopra, Founder & Chairman. They are on a team with Lynsey Thiel - Vice President of Sales, Jaime Rabin - Vice President of Partnerships and West Coast Operations, and Rich Wallach - Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
