Søren Holdt Jensen

Søren Holdt Jensen has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. From 2023 onward, they are serving as a Principal Research Scientist at Chora A/S. Prior to this, they worked as a Special Consultant in Noise, Acoustics and Vibrations at the Danish Ministry of Defence from September 2021 to January 2023. Søren Holdt also worked as an Independent Consultant in Signal and Information Processing from June 2021 to September 2021. Before that, they had a long career at Aalborg University, where they held various roles including Full Professor of Speech and Signal Processing, Associate Professor, and Associate Research Professor from 1997 to 2021. Søren Holdt also had short-term visiting positions at Centre national de la recherche scientifique, KU Leuven, and Delft University of Technology. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Aalborg University and as a Marie Curie Fellow at KU Leuven. Søren Holdt began their professional journey as a Guest Scientist at the Danish Computing Center for Research and Education (UNI-C) in 1993.

Søren Holdt Jensen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Signal Processing from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. Søren Holdt also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Communication Technology from Aalborg University, which they completed from 1983 to 1988. Before that, they completed their high school education at Aabenraa Statsskole, specializing in the Matematisk-fysisk linie from 1980 to 1983. Søren Holdt started their academic journey at Genner Skole, where they completed their primary education from 1972 to 1978. Additionally, Søren Holdt Jensen pursued executive education at Harvard Business School in 2013 to 2014, specializing in Leading the Virtual Company - PasteurProgram 2014.
