Alex J. Wall

Alex Wall serves as Vice President, Business Development, for Chord Energy. Mr. Wall has more than 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He most recently served as Vice President, Business Development, at Oasis Petroleum, beginning in 2019. Prior to his role as Vice President, he served as Managing Director, Business Development, after joining Oasis in 2015.

Mr. Wall began his career at Bechtel Corporation where he held various construction engineering positions. From 2005 to 2010, he held various positions for the Royal Bank of Canada’s Energy Investment Banking Group. From 2010 to 2015, he served in positions of increasing responsibility at Rosetta Resources, completing his tenure as Director of Strategy before joining Oasis.

Mr. Wall holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
