Jill McKim

Jill McKim is an experienced legal professional, with a background in corporate law, compliance, and regulatory affairs. Jill has held various roles throughout their career, starting as an Associate at Stewart McKelvey in 2004. Jill then moved on to work as a Corporate Secretary and Manager of Compliance at SEAMARK Asset Management from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they served as Corporate Secretary at Matrix Asset Management from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Jill worked as a Solicitor at the Nova Scotia Department of Justice before joining Endeavour Mining as a Legal Counsel from 2012 to 2015. From 2016 to 2017, Jill worked as the Manager of Policy & Regulatory Affairs at Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation. Jill then transitioned to Jazz Aviation LP as a Legal Counsel from 2017 to 2022. Lastly, Jill joined Chorus Aviation Inc. in 2017, where they held the positions of Senior Legal Counsel, Assistant Corporate Secretary until 2022, Director of Legal Affairs until 2023, and currently serves as the Vice President of Legal and Compliance.

Jill McKim obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2000. Jill then pursued a Bachelor of Law degree from the same university, which they completed in 2003. In 2022, Jill also obtained The Osgoode Certificate in ESG, Climate Risk, and the Law from Osgoode Professional Development.
