Don Oakly

Don Oakly has a strong background in planning, analytics, and optimization, with significant experience in the telecommunications, banking, and logistics industries.

Don joined Chorus NZ Limited in 2017 and currently holds the role of Commercial Planning & Analytics Manager. Prior to this, they served as the Transformation Reporting Manager at the same company, playing a key role in driving organizational change. Additionally, they briefly held the position of Sales & Operations Planning Manager.

Before their time at Chorus, Don worked at Kiwibank as the Distribution Strategy Lead for three years, from 2014 to 2017. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing strategies to optimize the bank's distribution channels.

In the early years of their career, Don worked as an Optimization Analyst at Fletcher Challenge Forests. During their three-year tenure (from 2000 to 2003), they specialized in optimizing processes and analyzing data.
