Suyu Zhang

Suyu Zhang has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Suyu co-founded and served as the CTO of Chowbus, a dish-centric food ordering platform. Suyu was responsible for curating featured dishes and delivering a unique food experience. Prior to that, Suyu worked as an iOS engineer at Raise.com, Weelio, AKTA (acquired by Salesforce), and the After School App. Suyu also co-founded and served as the CTO of Topic app, where they were responsible for app development and UI/UX design. Additionally, Suyu worked as an iOS engineer at Fueled Inc (acquired by ÄKTA).

Before entering the industry, Suyu worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In their research role, they focused on developing a more robust dynamic thermal management system for DRAM memory using Python. As a teaching assistant, they supported the ECE466 Advanced Computer Architecture course.

Suyu Zhang completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in robot design and applied physics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology in the years 2005 to 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2013, Suyu pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago.
