Rebecca Southern

Rebecca Southern is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in ultrasound and educational leadership. Currently serving as an Ultrasound Practitioner at Christ Health Center since April 2021, Rebecca has also held the position of Program Director at Gadsden State Community College and Virginia College. Previous roles include Senior Leader at Premier Designs, Inc., where coaching and mentoring were key responsibilities, Clinical Coordinator at Virginia College At Birmingham, and Ultrasound Educator at Riverview Medical Center. Rebecca's expertise encompasses various ultrasound modalities, as well as management and training functions within the healthcare sector. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Health Sciences from Faulkner University, a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado Christian University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Jacksonville State University, complemented by an Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
