Kath Cherrie has work experience spanning over two decades. Kath started their career in 2004 at the Housing New Zealand Corporation, where they held various roles including Housing Advisor, Quality Assurance Analyst, and Trainer. In their role as a Trainer, Kath was responsible for designing and implementing training programs for staff at the customer services center. Kath provided support to Team Leaders and the Customer Services Centre Leadership team in developing processes and support materials. In 2023, Kath joined the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) as a Learning Design and Delivery Lead.
Kath Cherrie completed their Bachelor of Learning and Teaching (BLTch) from Christchurch College of Education through a distance option from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from institutions such as the Australian Institute of Training & Development (AITD) and LinkedIn between 2017 and 2023. These certifications cover topics such as needs analysis, graphic design, learning effectiveness, webinar running, and instructional design, among others.
