Joey Rheaume

Joey Rheaume is a skilled engineer currently working as a Rear Closures Design & Release Engineer at Ford Motor Company since September 2025. Previous experience includes serving as a Systems Integration Engineer at Nexteer Automotive, where significant contributions were made in software integration for Electric Power Steering systems and troubleshooting in-vehicle software issues. Rheaume held leadership roles at Michigan State University, including President of the Human Powered Vehicle Club and Vice President of New Scholars at the Evans Scholars Foundation. Additional work experience includes an Interior Design Internship at Nissan, Production Internship at Gentex Corporation, and Mechanisms Internship at Magna International. Rheaume holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Central Michigan University.
