Mahesh Parmar

Mahesh Parmar has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Mahesh is currently working as an Agile Delivery Lead at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Delivery Manager at Kiwibank from July 2022 to August 2022. Mahesh also worked as an Agile Coach at Bank of New Zealand from April 2022 to June 2022. Before that, they served as a Scrum Lead at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) from November 2021 to April 2022 and as a Scrum Master at Westpac New Zealand from May 2021 to November 2021. Mahesh also has experience in the insurance industry, having worked as a Scrum Master and Solutions Partner at ACC New Zealand from June 2020 to May 2021 and from May 2019 to May 2020, respectively. Mahesh also worked as a Risk Adviser at Cigna New Zealand from December 2018 to April 2019. In their earlier career, they held the position of Wealth Specialist at ANZ from February 2013 to November 2018, where they provided coaching, mentorship, and risk advice to banking staff and clients. Mahesh also took on the role of Team Leader on a secondment from July 2016 to March 2017. Mahesh has additional experience as an Investment Adviser at Macquarie Group from October 2011 to September 2012 and as a Senior Property Investment Consultant at NZINVEST Limited from October 2010 to August 2011.

Mahesh Parmar holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Humanities and Social Studies with a focus on Politics and Economics from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) from The Chartered Banker Institute in 2000. Mahesh also holds a National Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
