Shawn Melley

Shawn Melley is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Health and CleanTech Cluster Lead at ChristchurchNZ since November 2022, where responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance the Health and CleanTech sectors in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Previously, Shawn held various leadership positions, including VP of Program Team Leadership at Harpoon Therapeutics, Co-Founder at Xsto Biosciences, and Executive Director at Aduro Biotech. Significant contributions were made in roles at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Abraxis BioScience, Eisai, and MGI Pharma, where Shawn focused on marketing and sales strategies in the oncology field. Educational credentials include a Master of Education from Arcadia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College.
