Christel House Schools operates multiple charter schools in the City of Indianapolis, under the authorization of the Indiana Charter School Board. We provide exciting, active, and meaningful learning to transform students to intelligent, poised, and thoughtful individuals. In 2017, CHS launched IndyTeach, a non-higher education, alternative teacher licensing program, focused on developing urban teachers through a yearlong apprenticeship model.

The Educational Team at Christel House Indianapolis is responsible for delivering high-quality educational experiences that promote the intellectual and personal development of students in urban settings. Team members collaborate to design and implement curriculum, provide instructional support, manage career and technical education programs, and guide students through college and career planning. The team also plays a pivotal role in mentoring new teachers through the IndyTeach apprenticeship program.
