Viv Ewing

Dr. Viv Ewing is a native of Omaha, NE. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in Community & Human Resources; a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies; and Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dr. Ewing’s professional career includes over 20 years of executive Leadership with major nonprofits such as CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association, Vice President of Administration at PromiseShip, executive positions at Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army Kroc Center, and Omaha Housing Authority. Dr. Ewing also has extensive experience in government relations, donor cultivation, annual development and giving campaigns, and government and foundation grants. Her community leadership includes service to many organizations including past Salvation Army Tree of Lights Chair, President of the Human Resources Association of Midlands, Governor’s Judicial Selection Committee, University of Nebraska Medical Center Board of Councilors, the Vice President of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Alumni Board, College of Public Affairs Advisory Council, the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chancellor’s Diversity Committee, and College of Saint Mary Board of Directors-Fundraising Committee. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals, families, and organizations make positive changes that will enhance their success and reach their potential.
