Clarence J. Samuel holds extensive experience in the field of Community Medicine, currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department at Christian Medical College Ludhiana since April 2018, while also fulfilling the role of Vice Principal. Since October 2008, Clarence has been a Professor of Community Medicine at Christian Medical College & Hospital, leading the Department of Rural Health and Outreach Programmes where over 50 medical camps are organized annually, benefiting approximately 65,000 individuals. Previous roles include Project Director for Polio Eradication activities with ADRA India and Medical Officer in various hospitals, including during the Gujarat Earthquake relief efforts.
