Meredith Stewart Tweedie, J.D., serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs, Policy & Regulatory Strategy at ChristianaCare since January 2017, where previously held roles include Vice President Government Affairs and Policy and Vice President of Government Affairs & Strategic Engagement. Prior to this, Meredith Stewart Tweedie was Chief Legal Counsel and Healthcare Policy Advisor to Governor Jack A. Markell within the Office of Governor Jack A. Markell from August 2015 to January 2017. Experience also includes serving as State Solicitor (Civil Division), Unit Head (Health Law), and Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware from July 2010 to July 2015 and as an Associate at Richards, Layton & Finger from September 2006 to July 2010. Educational credentials include an Executive Education program in Managing Healthcare Delivery from Harvard Business School (2018-2019), a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Iowa College of Law, and a degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia (1998-2001).
