Tim Middleton

Head of Operations at Christies Care

Tim Middleton has been with Christies Care Ltd since 2006, starting as an internal management consultant. In this role, they were responsible for assessing departments and managers to analyse their processes, effectiveness, and efficiency in line with their objectives. Once this was completed, detailed improvement programmes were proposed and implemented.

In their time with the company, Tim has made a number of significant contributions. Tim began working with our advisor department, who are remote workers, to mentor the manager at the time, helping to deal with a range of employment issues. This improved engagement, communication, and performance related issues.

Tim also worked with recruitment teams to support and mentor new manager. This improved efficiency, increased volume and quality of applicants.

Additionally, Tim successfully integrated apprentices into the organisation to ensure levy was fully taken advantage of. And they implemented a new main operating system across the organisation, helping to move towards the goal of being a paperless organisation.

Currently, Tim is working with the training department to modernise our carer training by making it blended learning by implementing eLearning. Tim is also working on various projects to improve staff morale and performance. In addition to these duties, they are also continued involvement in the balance of staffing to meet the demands of clients and offering guidance to heads of departments on efficiency and staff output.

Tim Middleton did their undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Media and Popular Culture at the University of Northampton and got a 2:1. Tim then did their A Levels in Tim'story, Sociology and English at Leiston High School. Tim is also certified from the CIPD in CIPD Level 5 Employment Law.

Tim Middleton reports to Freddy Gathorne Hardy, Managing Director. They are on a team with Charlotte Driver-Young - Operations Manager & Registered Manager for Christies Care Ltd, Emily Smith - Head of New Client Team & Local Area Advisors, and Sarah Hostler - Training Supervisor.
