Alex Locke serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Sales Strategy at Christie's since April 2015, leading client strategy for the 20th and 21st Century Art division in the Americas. In this role, Alex directs a team to manage workflow and support sales, achieving significant success, including overseeing evening sales that exceeded $1 billion in 2021. Prior positions at Christie's included roles focused on client portfolio management for Post-War & Contemporary Art and Impressionist & Modern Art. Earlier experience includes client development at Sotheby's and a sales assistant role at Pace Gallery. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Davidson College and a Master of Arts in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art.
