Allison Houghton has had a diverse range of work experiences. Allison began at Christie's in 2016 as a Gallery Operations Manager, where they oversaw various tasks including scheduling, installations, and client experience initiatives. Allison then transitioned to the role of Associate Vice President, Publishing Manager, Americas, in 2021, where they focused on deploying publishing services and managing vendor relationships. In their most recent role at Christie's, they served as Vice President, Project Director, leading strategic projects and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Prior to their time at Christie's, Allison interned at both Christie's and the Guggenheim Museum and held positions at Pratt Institute as an Admissions Office Representative and an Orientation Coordinator in the Student Involvement Office.

Allison Houghton has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in History of Art and Design from Pratt Institute. Allison also studied Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London.
