Anthea Peers

Anthea Peers has over 20 years of experience in the art auction and gallery sector, currently serving as President for EMEA and Global Managing Director for Private Sales at Christie's since April 2014. Anthea's tenure at Christie's began in March 2006, where a progression of roles included Client Strategy Director for the Classic Art Group and various managerial and coordinator positions in Russian Art, Impressionist & Modern Art, and British & Irish Art. Prior to Christie's, Anthea gained valuable experience as Gallery Manager at John Martin Chelsea. Anthea Peers holds an MA Hons in History of Art from The University of Edinburgh, obtained between 1999 and 2003, and attended St Paul’s Girls’ School from 1991 to 1998.
