Audrey Shum's work experience includes being the Managing Director and General Counsel, APAC at Christie's since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Legal Asia Pacific at Christie's from April 2015 to May 2022. From November 2012 to April 2015, they were the Vice President, Head of Legal, Asia at Christie's. Before joining Christie's, Audrey worked as a Partner at Stephenson Harwood from February 2010 to November 2012, where they specialized in litigation and intellectual property law. Audrey also worked as a Consultant at Clifford Chance from April 2004 to February 2010. Audrey started their legal career as an Associate at Bird & Bird from 2001 to 2004, and at Deacons in 2000. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Clyde & Co from September 1997 to 2000, focusing on commercial litigation.

Audrey Shum attended the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained an LLM in Law. Audrey then pursued their LLB in Law at The University of Hong Kong from 1992 to 1995. Later, from 2001 to 2004, they attended Monash University and earned an MBS in IT (Business Systems). Prior to their university studies, Audrey Shum attended St Catherine's School (Waverly Sydney) from 1988 to 1991 and Queen Elizabeth School from 1985 to 1987.
