Samuel Lai

Samuel Lai has extensive experience in the field of IT infrastructure and engineering. Samuel is currently working as the Vice President and Head of IT Infrastructure & Engineering at Christie's since August 2022. Prior to this, Samuel served as the Vice President of Infrastructure at Marwood Group from March 2018 to August 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the security and cybersecurity of on-premises and cloud services, governance of SaaS and IaaS, and creating disaster recovery plans. Before joining Marwood Group, Samuel worked as an Information Technology Manager at Marwood Group from May 2006 to March 2018, where they oversaw server support, networking, internet, and telecommunications for healthcare and call center businesses in multiple locations. Earlier in their career, Samuel worked as a Systems Engineer at Align Communications from October 2004 to May 2006, where they led projects for system upgrades and troubleshooting. Samuel also has experience as an Information Technology System Administrator at Icon Nicholson LLC from July 2000 to October 2004, where they managed server operations and introduced a new imaging server for faster user deployment. Starting their career, Samuel worked as a Network Support Specialist at MUFG from July 1999 to July 2000, where they provided technical solutions, solved user problems, and performed maintenance for a large user base.

Samuel Lai earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Computer Information System from Baruch College in 2000.
