Sarah El-Tamer

Sarah El-Tamer serves as Vice President in the Chairman's Office and has held multiple leadership positions in client advisory and specialist roles at Christie's since September 2009, specializing in Impressionist and Modern Art. Responsibilities have included organizing high-value Evening Sales, managing the authentication process for artworks, and securing consignments for various sales. Sarah's experience encompasses extensive research, cataloguing, and collaboration with conservation professionals, alongside development of systems for tracking authenticity and expertise-related costs. Prior internships at Step Up nonprofit and 511 Gallery provided valuable experience in event marketing, fundraising, and gallery operations. Sarah holds a BA in Art History and Economics from Columbia University and has also studied at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
