Phillip Santos, PE, has over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, currently serving as Phase I Lead Engineer and Project Engineer at Christopher B. Burke Engineering - Chicagoland since August 2006. Prior to this, Phillip held the position of Transportation Planning Project Manager at HDR for a brief period in early 2006. From February 1998 to December 2005, Phillip worked at the Illinois Department of Transportation, progressing through several roles including Interim Project Manager, Project Studies Specialist, Construction Inspector, and Associate Consultant Studies. Phillip began their career as a Project Engineer at RJN Group from May 1997 to January 1998. Phillip obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, where education was completed from 1992 to 1997.
