Richard Heyman is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Christopher & Banks. Richard has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, and has been with Christopher & Banks since October 2018.
Heyman has been instrumental in stabilizing critical systems at Christopher & Banks, allowing the company to increase sales volume and turn around its business trajectory. Richard has also overseen the development and deployment of omni-channel operations, including buy online, pickup in store.
Heyman has developed and begun implementation of a long-range information technology strategic plan that reduces risk, increases system reliability and scalability, and adds new capabilities. Richard has also implemented a technology sourcing model that reduces capital outlay and increases service levels.
Heyman has deployed a managed wide-area network, including VOIP, and wireless customer analytics capabilities. Richard has also established an Information Technology Steering Committee to foster organizational and operational alignment, and drive prudent and thoughtful technology investment.
Most recently, Heyman deployed a low-code cloud-based integration platform that supported multi-cloud operations and reduced operational risk.
Richard Heyman obtained a MBA/MS in MIS from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to that, they completed a Sc. M. in Geology from Brown University and a B.S. in Geology and Physics from Tufts University.
They are on a team with Kara Johnson - Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, Maureen A. Reagan - Vice President, Human Resources, and Carmen L. Wamre - Senior Vice President, Chief Stores Officer. Richard Heyman reports to Keri L. Jones, President & CEO.
