Emily Dugan

Emily Dugan is an experienced digital content professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Digital Content at Christopher Newport University since July 2021, where leadership and direction for the university’s digital presence are provided. Dugan's previous role as a Content Specialist involved managing social media content, collaborating on multimedia projects, and researching trends to enhance CNU's social strategy. Prior experience includes working as a Social Media Contractor for NCAA's Division I Men's Soccer and serving as Division III On-Site Social Media Coordinator for national championships. Earlier in the career, Dugan held the position of Community Relations Technician with Newport News Public Schools, managing social media accounts and providing administrative support. Dugan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
