Judy Tyrus

Judy Tyrus is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of ChromaDiverse, Inc., where projects in the arts and humanities promote cultural diversity through active engagement among various communities. Tyrus co-authored the book "Dance Theatre of Harlem: A History, A Movement, A Celebration," and has extensive experience with the Dance Theatre of Harlem in various roles, including Curator Exhibition and Principal Dancer. Tyrus's exhibition work has been critically acclaimed, with significant contributions to notable institutions such as the Smithsonian National Museum of African American Arts and Culture and the California African American Museum. Additionally, Tyrus has served as a Social Media Consultant for multiple organizations, developing effective strategies to enhance audience engagement. Educational qualifications include certification in Visual Design from General Assembly and participation in various archival training programs.
