Maksim S. is a seasoned Browser Engineer and Partner at Igalia since March 2017, focusing on the development and maintenance of core browser features, particularly as the owner of Ozone/Wayland/X11 and in GPU stack performance optimization. Since March 2016, Maksim has also contributed as a committer within the Chromium/WebKit projects. Prior experience includes a Software Engineering Internship at Intel Corporation, where design and implementation of ChromeOS/Linux platform code for the W3C Generic Sensor API were completed, as well as a Summer Trainee position at Nokia Networks focused on software development in Linux-based environments. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication Technology from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, which was attended from 2012 to 2016.
