Ravikumar Venkatesan

Ravikumar Venkatesan is currently the Engineering Director, QA at Chronicled. Prior to that, they worked at Intertrust from January 2019 to March 2022 as Sr. Manager (QA & Release). At Intertrust, Ravikumar was responsible for the complete ownership of software Quality Engineering and release function of cloud-based TIP software (provides secure data rights management and security/data governance).

During their time at Intertrust, Ravikumar led a 8-member global team comprised of both on-site and offshore members. Ravikumar also participated in performance reviews and was responsible for setting goals, reviewing progress, and bringing out the best in their team members. In addition, Ravikumar developed QE/release processes, test strategies/plans, and release metrics/dashboards. Ravikumar also partnered with Product and Engineering teams and contributed to product roadmap, scope, and reviews.

In terms of actual testing, Ravikumar led the functional, end to end, and performance testing of services and web applications. Ravikumar also worked hands-on using RestAPI, Databases, and Cloud native deployments. Additionally, Ravikumar automation framework and automation of UI (Selenium) /REST API and performance test (JMeter). Ravikumar also contributed to CI/CD and collaborated with Devops on triaging environments issues. Finally, Ravikumar validated customer use cases for POC and contributed to customer success. Ravikumar also performed reviews of user guide and developer guide to ensure high quality documentation.

They are on a team with Olga Boltach - QA Lead, Lai Sterns - Senior Product Designer, and Vikram Arwade - Director of Engineering. Ravikumar Venkatesan reports to Maurizio Greco, CTO & Co-Founder.
