Alan Zeng

Alan Zeng's work experience includes serving as the Director of Program Operations at Chrysalis, where they implemented a metrics-driven approach and successfully extended a multiyear contract. Alan also worked as a Program Manager at Chrysalis, overseeing a team of Employment Specialists and managing program participation for over 3,000 clients.

Prior to their time at Chrysalis, Alan served as a Program and Operations Manager at NEI Nutrition and Education International, where they oversaw program activities and design for a grant in Afghanistan. Alan also worked as a Program Manager at NEI, focusing on reducing malnutrition through economic development and government capacity building.

Earlier in their career, Alan worked as a Religious Director at the University of Southern California and as a Program Manager at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, achieving a 6% increase in student retention and engagement.

Alan began their career as a Recruitment Intern at Amazon.

Alan Zeng earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Occidental College in the period from 2010 to 2014. Alan then attended the University of Southern California (USC) and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2022 to 2025. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the USC Marshall School of Business during the same time frame. Prior to their college education, they participated in the Rainier Scholars program from 2003 to 2014, focusing on Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Alan Zeng also holds two additional certifications: Adult Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing (obtained in January 2022) and Working Through Challenging Behaviors from Homeless Health Care Los Angeles (obtained in November 2021).
