Greg Ottinger

VP of Strategic Partnerships at Wabash Heartland Innovation Network

Greg Ottinger is the current VP of Strategic Partnerships at Wabash Heartland Innovation Network. Greg has also previously served as the VP of Business Development at GMI Corporation, the President of Greenwood Medical, Inc., and the VP Sales & Engineering of Greenwood Machine, Inc. From 1985 to 2005, Greg worked their way up through the ranks of General Motors, eventually becoming an Engineering and Operations Executive Management. In 2005, they left General Motors to take on the role of VP Engineering North America at SMC. After three years at SMC, Greg returned to the medical industry when they became President of Greenwood Medical, Inc. in 2008. In 2011, Greenwood Machine, Inc. and Greenwood Medical, Inc. merged to form GMI Corporation, and Greg took on the role of VP Business Development. Greg remained in this position until 2018 when they accepted their current role at Wabash Heartland Innovation Network.

Greg Ottinger received their MBA from the IU Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, IN, where they double majored in operations management and corporate finance. Prior to that, they received their B.S.M.E. from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in mechanical / aeronautical engineering.
