Tanya Wood currently serves as the Executive Director of CHS Alliance since September 2018, where leadership focuses on promoting accountability among over 220 members in accordance with the Core Humanitarian Standard. Previously, Tanya was the Chair of the Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network, facilitating a global initiative to eliminate Neglected Tropical Diseases, and served as Chief Executive Officer at ILEP, a federation addressing leprosy and related issues. Additional roles include Director of Partnerships and Policy at the International Council of Voluntary Agencies and Head of Regional Office at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, where responsibilities included managing teams and supporting various Red Cross developments across the Americas. Tanya's early career involved coordinating operations following the Sri Lanka tsunami and leading initiatives during the Guyana floods. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration and a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility, along with advanced studies in International Development Management and Social Anthropology.
