Karl Thoene

Karl Thoene is an accomplished professional in the animal nutrition industry, currently serving as Vice President of Animal Nutrition at CHS Inc. since June 2020, promoting CHS PAYBACK® for enhanced performance. Prior to this role, Karl Thoene spent over 22 years at Cargill, where notable positions included leading the sales center of excellence for Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health and serving as Global Strategic Account Manager for Cargill Protein and Nutrition, managing global account teams. Additionally, Karl Thoene held the role of Managing Director for Cargill Animal Nutrition in the Western US region, overseeing a significant P&L and multiple manufacturing facilities. Educationally, Karl Thoene holds a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
