Mo Elafandi

Mo Elafandi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Domestic Renewable Fuels Marketing and Trading at CHS since 2006, Mo Elafandi provides marketing, sales, risk management, and hedging services for ten ethanol production facilities. Previous roles include Director of Portfolio Management at Ecolab, where responsibilities involved managing investments in research and development, and positions in commodity pricing and electricity sales at Sempra Energy Solutions and Continental Energy Services Acquisition Corp., respectively. Mo Elafandi also held a managerial role at Enron North America, facilitating significant power transactions post-bankruptcy, and served as an Associate in investment banking at First Union Securities, focusing on corporate finance. Mo Elafandi began a career in the US Navy, serving as a Submarine Officer after graduating from the United States Naval Academy. Mo Elafandi holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
