Joan Kristensen

Joan Kristensen currently serves as Director of Experience Design (UX) at PGIM, leading experience design for one of the world's largest asset management firms since January 2021. Prior to this role, Joan was the Senior Experience Design Lead (UX) at MetLife from August 2015 to December 2020, where strategic contributions were made to significant UX projects across global markets. Joan's experience also includes positions such as Senior Product Designer at D2 | TEAM-Sim and Senior Art Director in freelance roles, showcasing a diverse background in UI/UX, digital marketing, and creative direction. Earlier career highlights include establishing a new creative department at LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell and co-founding a successful advertising agency, Siren Communications, Inc. Joan holds a B.S. in Art/Writing from Skidmore College and has certifications in HTML and UX prototyping from Noble Desktop and School of Visual Arts.
