Shotaro Tokida

Shotaro Tokida has worked in various roles at five different companies since 2000. Shotaro began their career at Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. in 2000, where they worked in the Legal Department and Hamamatsu customer office. In 2006, they became an Intern at Bingham McCutchen LLP. Shotaro then returned to Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. in 2007, where they held the roles of Manager, International Business Department, Assistant Manager, International Business Department, and Legal Department. In 2016, they joined JERA Co., Inc. as Senior Manager, Business Development, and Manager, Business Development. Shotaro is currently employed at Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., where they serve as General Manager, Regional Infrastructure Business Office / Legal & Governance Unit, Global Business and Senior Manager, Strategy & Alliance.

Shotaro Tokida completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Osaka University from 1996 to 2000. Shotaro then went on to obtain their Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Minnesota Law School from 2005 to 2006.
