Cephas Tan Li-Jie

Cephas Tan Li-Jie is a Research Associate at Chugai Pharmabody Research since June 2022, specializing in the Protein Production Unit. Prior experience includes working as a Research Student at Nanyang Technological University from August 2019 to March 2022, focusing on the characterization of Aquaporin Z protein in various lipid environments. Additional roles consist of a Cytogenetics Internship at Singapore General Hospital, where laboratory procedures and quality control were performed, a Summer Internship at the Bioinformatics Institute, analyzing molecular dynamics simulations of alphavirus fusion peptides, and earlier internships in immunology and administrative support. Cephas holds an Honors degree in Biological Science and Biomedical Structural Biology from Nanyang Technological University, along with several computer science qualifications from Udacity and a Diploma in Biotechnology from Singapore Polytechnic.
