Kaiyuan Tian

Kaiyuan Tian is a Senior Scientist at Chugai Pharmabody Research since July 2022, having previously served as a Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from July 2017 to July 2022. Prior experience includes tenure as Managing Director and Co-Founder at BioCycle Pte. Ltd. from April 2014 to July 2017, where responsibilities encompassed optimization, engineering design, systems development, quality assurance and control, executive management, and strategic planning. Kaiyuan Tian earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2016, following a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in the same field in 2010. The expertise includes a strong foundation in catalysis, particularly in enzymatic catalysts such as lipases.
