The Chugoku Bank, Limited is primarily engaged in banking business. The Company operates in four business segments. The Banking segment is engaged in the deposit, loan, marketable securities and investments, domestic and foreign exchange, trust business, as well as debt guarantee and bonds underwriting business, the sale of public bond including government bond and securities investment trust, the financial instruments brokerage business, and investment banking business including merger and acquisition (M&A). The Leasing segment is engaged in the provision of leasing services to corporations. The Securities segment is engaged in the securities business. The Others segment is engaged in the venture investment business and others. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 10 subsidiaries and two associated companies.
