Samuel Hodges IV has a diverse work experience history. Samuel started their career in 1996 as a Video Editor at NBC 17. In 2000, they joined Church Initiative as a Producer before taking on the role of Discipleship Pastor at Infinity Church in 2002. In 2005, they returned to Church Initiative, this time as an Executive Producer. Samuel subsequently held the position of Vice President, Publishing before becoming the President of the company in January 2022.

Samuel Hodges IV earned a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary between 1994 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (Radio, TV, Film) from Howard University, spanning from 1990 to 1994.
