Dwayne Dewey Gantz

Dwayne “Dewey” Gantz joined Church Mutual as Senior Vice President – Finance in October 2020. He was appointed to his current position in March 2021. Gantz’s responsibilities include oversight and strategic direction for Church Mutual’s entire Finance Department.

Gantz earned his bachelor’s degree in accountancy at Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada. He holds an MBA in accounting from University of Phoenix and a doctorate in accounting from Walden University. He also holds several professional designations including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), in addition to green and black belts in Six Sigma.

Gantz has served as a director on several boards including: Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point; L’Arche of Erie Society; and the Stevens Point Area School District. He also has served as a volunteer at Emmaus Grove – Erie Urban Farm School.
