Brian Brown

Brian Brown serves as the Director of In-Person Events at Church Pension Group since September 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Associate Director of Operations at Columbia University School of Professional Studies from July 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included managing the Career Design Lab and supporting a team of Career Advisors with various technology platforms. Brian also contributed as an Associate Lecturer for a graduate-level course on internships in Summer 2022, applying Design Thinking concepts to enhance student learning. Prior roles include Career Center Manager for various staffing agencies between September 2014 and June 2018, and Event Planner at Guardian Life from June 2001 to August 2014, overseeing over 30 events annually and facilitating contract negotiations with vendors. Brian earned a degree in Television and Theater from Marymount Manhattan College from 1995 to 1999.
