Tony Chao is an accomplished Animation Director at Animated Storyboards since August 2019, also serving as a freelance storyboard artist for Flywheel Film, LLC, and a boxing instructor for Church Street Boxing Gym. Chao operates as a self-employed illustrator with notable works including a promotional comic for the Science Channel’s "Mythical Beasts" and the self-published cartoon "Marvin, Enough Already!! A Cartoon on Life." Previous experience includes roles as a contract graphic designer at The Wildflower Group, boxing instructor at Title Boxing Club NYC, and a graphic design intern at World Marketing Inc., contributing to notable clothing lines. Additional experience encompasses translation and design work at MJ Health Research Foundation and teaching art at Manhattan Youth. Chao holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Narrative from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from Syracuse University.
