Daniel Poff

Daniel Poff has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Daniel currently serves as the Senior Director of IT Governance at Churchill Downs Incorporated. Previously, they worked at ARGI as the Director of the Project Management Office, where they established a project management framework and created a governance model to ensure project alignment with company goals. Prior to that, they worked at SoftwareONE as a Senior Project Manager, managing various Fortune 500 clients and projects. Daniel also held several roles at Kindred Healthcare, including Senior Director of Technical Services, Director of Technical Services, and Manager of Technical Services. Throughout their tenure at Kindred Healthcare, they implemented various initiatives resulting in significant cost savings and managed different departments and teams.

Daniel Poff attended Durham-Nixon Clay Business College in 1983, where they studied business. Daniel also completed their high school education at Trinity High School in Louisville, KY. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2008. Daniel also holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, achieved in 2021, and the AZ-300 Azure Architecture Technologies Certification Exam from StackSkills, obtained in 2020.
