Nate Simon

Nate Simon serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Churchill Downs Incorporated since February 2022, after holding the position of President at United Tote Company from April 2011 to February 2022. In these roles, Nate Simon has been responsible for the strategic planning and execution of technology services, encompassing sales, research and development, and business operations. Prior to joining Churchill Downs, Nate Simon was the Global Head of IT Operations at Clariant, overseeing IT infrastructure across 70 sites globally, and also served as Regional CIO Americas, where significant cost control and strategy reform were achieved. Earlier career experience includes leadership positions at GE Consumer and Industrial focused on ERP implementation and project management. Nate Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
