Neal Curtis

Neal Curtis is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate development and governance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Development at Churchill Downs Incorporated since July 2019, Curtis has previously held roles as Senior Counsel and Corporate Counsel within the same organization. Prior to this, an Associate position at Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs, LLP was held from April 2018 to July 2019, focusing on corporate governance and transactions. From August 2015 to March 2018, Curtis was an Associate at Bass, Berry & Sims, providing legal counsel to healthcare clients on mergers and acquisitions. Curtis began a legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court from August 2013 to August 2015. Curtis holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Studies from Vanderbilt University.
