Adam Mooij

Adam Mooij has extensive work experience in various finance and management roles. Adam is currently serving as the Regional Managing Director, North for Churchill Retirement Living Ltd since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at McCarthy Stone from 2016 to 2021, holding positions such as Divisional Finance Director, North; Regional Managing Director, North West; and Regional Finance Director, North West. Before joining McCarthy Stone, Mooij was associated with Countrywide from 2012 to 2016, where they served as Head of Finance, Projects and M&A, and later as Head of Finance, Conveyancing Services. Adam started their professional career at Daisy Group in 2009, working as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Retail, Financial Controller, Mobile Solutions, and Group Financial Accountant. Mooij's career began at PwC, where they worked as a Senior Associate, Assurance, from 2005 to 2009.

Adam Mooij obtained their MMath (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Landau Forte College in Derby from 1994 to 2001, although no degree or specific field of study was specified for this period. Adam also pursued a professional qualification in Accounting, becoming FCA qualified from the ICAEW between 2005 and 2008. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Leadership & Management (Level 5) certification from the ILM in March 2011.
