Gerardo Larrea French Olozaga has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gerardo started their career in 1974 as an Officer in Training for Mexican Maritime Transportation. Gerardo then transitioned to the US Navy, where they served as a Personnel & Administration Manager and also underwent various training courses. Following their military service, Gerardo worked as a Tour & Travel Sales Manager for Hyatt Hotels and Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites.

In 1994, Gerardo joined South American Restaurants Corporation and held multiple roles such as Director of Sales Marketing, Director of Marketing, and Director of Product Development & Projects. Gerardo played a crucial role in making major decisions for eight different companies under the corporation's management. Gerardo received the Award of Excellence for 25 years of service in 2019.

Gerardo also studied Southern Fist Kung Fu at Ditan Earth Temple School. In the field of Japanese Martial Arts, they earned a Black Sash degree from Sensei Ricardo Chacon's Jujitsu & Aikido School. Additionally, they achieved the rank of Disciple of Grandmaster Bill Chung & Grandmaster Mario Perez in the Hung Gar Kung Fu and Southern Shaolin Kung Fu System of South Florida. Gerardo also received training in customer service management from Walt Disney Customer Service Training Course and took a course in management and public speaking from Dale Carnegie Training. Gerardo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Houston. Gerardo received training and expertise in special security training and martial arts during their time in the US Navy from 1981 to 1985. Gerardo also obtained various certifications, including Black Sash in Eagle Claw Kung Fu from Nees School of Kung Fu.
