Traian Popa

Traian Popa is a Senior Researcher at CHUV | Lausanne University Hospital, where they lead the scientific coordination of SwissNeuroRehab, a significant initiative in neurological rehabilitation. With experience as a Staff Scientist at the ICM - Brain & Spine Institute and as a Senior Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, Traian has developed a strong foundation in the field. They have also served as a Clinical Research Scientist at EPFL and have held various research positions, including post-doctoral work at UPMC - Sorbonne Universities. Traian holds a Doctor of Medicine from Grigore T. Popa University and a PhD in Clinical Neurosciences from Università degli Studi di Siena. Additionally, they serve as the Education Coordinator for Neuroscience at Lake Lucerne Institute.
