Shailani Borges is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Branch Principal at CIA FIRST International School since July 2022. Previously, Shailani held the positions of Primary Vice-Principal and PYP Coordinator at CBIS Bilingual International School from July 2017 to July 2022, and co-chaired the South China PYP Network from October 2019 to June 2022. Earlier roles include teaching French at Northbridge International School Cambodia and at the British International School, Phnom Penh, as well as serving as a Portuguese guest lecturer at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Shailani holds two master's degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University, one in French and another in Philosophy focusing on Portuguese Language and Literature, and completed early education at Carmel Convent School, New Delhi.
