Jonathan Spangler

Jonathan Spangler has a diverse range of work experience in the music-tech and life science industries. Jonathan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ciari Guitars, a startup focused on disrupting the global guitar market with their innovative travel guitars. Jonathan founded their own consulting firm, Spangler Advisory Services, providing consulting and Board of Directors services in the life science industry, with a focus on intellectual property law and business development. Jonathan has also held roles as Chief IP Strategist at Integrity Implants, Board Member and Chief IP Strategist at StartBox, LLC, and Strategic IP Advisor at DinamicOR. Jonathan has extensive experience in intellectual property, having served as Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel at NuVasive, a leading spine surgery company, and Chief Patent Counsel at A-Med Systems, a cardiac surgery startup. Jonathan began their career as an Associate at the intellectual property law firm, Arnold White & Durkee.

Jonathan Spangler attended Marquette University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Dayton School of Law from 1992 to 1995, specializing in Patent Law.
